The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), in collaboration with the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Research Trends in ML based Signal Processing” from January 29th to February 2nd, 2024.

The course provided insights into Machine Learning algorithms for image, speech, music, and neural signal processing. Academic researchers and industry experts shared their experiences in applying these techniques. Sessions on stress management were also included. Feedback was positive, highlighting the course’s relevance and practical value. The session was sponsored by DTE and coordinated by Dr.Reshmi S. Bhooshan and Prof. Joaquim Ignatious Monteiro.
