A training session on “Vector Network Analyser (VNA) measurements and Open EMS
electromagnetic field solver” was organized on November 24-25, 2022 for the second year M.Tech. (Microwave and Television Engg.) students. The programme was organised under the visiting faculty scheme of the Government of Kerala.

The resource person for the training programme was Prof. Sanoj Viswasom, Assistant Professor, GEC Idukki. The objective of the programe was to provide participants a strong foundation for making VNA measurements and introduction to Open EMS EM field solver. 16 students and three faculty members participated in the training programme. Participants received handson training on the Keysight P9373A VNA at the microwave lab of the department.
