Sumi received her B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Calicut (Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur) and M. Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from University of Kerala (College of Engineering Trivandrum).
She has worked as Lecturer (Adhoc) at NIT Calicut (1997-’98), She joined CET as Lecturer in 1999 and has worked as Assistant Professor at GEC Barton Hill and GEC Wayanad. She rejoined CET in 2017.
She teaches Signals & Systems, C++ and Data Structures, Electronic Circuits, Network Theory, Logic Circuit Design, Control System, Measurements and Sensors for Automation.
She has published papers in Conferences. Her area of interest is Biomedical Instrumentation.
